Inventory Manager

Work Location – DIC, Dubai (Crosswell Logistics)

Job Summary:

The Inventory Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, optimizing inventory management processes, and ensuring inventory accuracy to support efficient order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
• Update stock records and ensure data integrity in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Analyze inventory trends and provide actionable insights to minimize stock variances.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed, especially for food products.
• Manage and execute the process to write off damaged and expired goods, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Analyze order profile and constantly review slotting logic.
• Drive efficient utilization of warehouse cubic space
• Enable productivity improvement across inbound and outbound operations through efficient inventory flow through the warehouse.
• Works closely with IT teams and other cross functional operations leaders both internal and external to ensure high product availability of shelves for picking.   
• Conduct annual stock counts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a 3PL or FMCG environment.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably SAP.
• Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.),
• Ability to churn large data sets into actionable recommendations. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
