MIS & Customer Service Executive

Job Summary

The MIS cum Customer Service Executive is responsible for managing logistics-related reports, maintaining operational data accuracy, monitoring KPIs, and providing excellent customer support to clients. The role acts as a bridge between customers, warehouse operations, transportation teams, and management by ensuring timely reporting, issue resolution, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Generate MIS reports related to inventory, order fulfilment, transportation, delivery performance, and customer service metrics.
  • Monitor and analyse key logistics KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and turnaround time.
  • Ensure data accuracy in ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for management review.
  • Track customer-specific SLAs and provide performance reports.
  • Maintain records of shipments, deliveries, inventory movements, and operational transactions.
  • Support management with data analysis and ad-hoc reporting requirements.

Customer Service

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding logistics operations.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide shipment tracking updates and delivery status information.
  • Manage order processing, customer requests, and service escalations.
  • Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and service tickets.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • 2–5 years of experience in MIS reporting, customer service, or logistics operations.
  • Experience in a 3PL, warehousing, or supply chain environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
  • Knowledge of ERP, WMS, and TMS systems is a plus to have.
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
