Business Development Executive – Contract Logistics (3 positions)

Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the field of contract logistics. The role involves understanding client supply chain needs, designing tailored solutions, and working with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the contract logistics sector.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Work closely with operations, solutions design, and pricing teams to create value-driven logistics solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms of contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and reports.
  • Support the implementation of new customer contracts, ensuring smooth handover to operations.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of contract logistics / warehousing / distribution solutions.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in preparing commercial proposals and business cases.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a dynamic market environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in sales/business development within 3PL / contract logistics / supply chain industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with supply chain solutions (warehousing, value-added services, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment).

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

  • New business revenue generated.
  • Number of qualified leads converted to contracts.
  • Customer acquisition rate and retention levels.
  • Accuracy of sales forecasts and reporting.
  • Customer satisfaction and successful handover to operations.
