Merchandising Manager

Job Summary:

Plays a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and market presence of our FMCG products in retail environments. Responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and optimize product placement within retail outlets.

Job Responsibilities:

Merchandising Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive retail merchandising strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends. Analyze consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and industry insights to identify opportunities for enhancing product visibility and sales performance.  

Planogram Development and Implementation:Design and implement effective planograms to optimize product placement, assortment, and shelving within retail stores.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment of planograms with brand objectives and product positioning strategies.  

Visual Merchandising:Oversee the creation and implementation of visually appealing displays, signage, and promotional materials to attract customers and drive sales.
Ensure consistency in brand representation and messaging across all retail touchpoints.

Inventory Management:
Monitor product availability and stock levels in retail stores to ensure timely replenishment and minimize out-of-stock situations.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory management processes and minimize excess inventory.
 
Training & Development:
Provide training and guidance to retail staff on merchandising best practices, product knowledge, and brand guidelines.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
 
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to merchandising effectiveness, sales performance, and market share.
Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
